What Metronome (Click) do you prefer?

Have you made any changes to the metronome sound in your DAW?

I use Logic Pro X, and the default metronome sound is that short click. I often find myself increasing the “tonality” of the click to make it more audible when I record new parts on top of the music playing. I love the metronome on my Roland digital piano, which I would like to have in my DAW too! :stuck_out_tongue:

The Roland piano has this great “ching” sound on the 1’s (each bar). It makes it stand out against the beats, which I like.

I hate the metronome click in logic… I prefer the click on cubase so I’ve made a muted thuddy sound to match it and made a kontakt instrument for it and it’s at the top of all my templates so I just need to press play and it’s always there.

I should probably just make a new metronome track, since I especially want a super crystal clear 1 regardless of how many other tracks are playing! :stuck_out_tongue:

That’s what I ended up doing. A midi track that’s always there that you’ve tuned towards your ears works much better.
