I’m currently working with some more unknown publisher but I want to reach out to some not to big publishers, but still with some recent placements.
Do you guys have some recommendations?
also, how do you guys find new publisher that you can work with ?
I think most trailer composers might be a bit cagey about giving out publishers details as most of them are already swamped with submissions.
For me the best way to go is follow the placements, see what’s landing and then find out who’s behind it. I see a lot of people rushing in and signing their music to anyone who will take it but there are lots of publishers out there that get very few (if any) placements.
