I’m glad the only guitar I have in my studio is electric, so at least it’s not super resonant while sitting there passive (for the most part).

I used to have a peachy desk I used to record through years ago. I moved rooms and suddenly I had this high hum whenever I recorded vocals. I remember just EQing it out badly but for about 3 months it didn’t occur to me that it was a ground hum :joy:

Oh man, I hate electrical induced noise perhaps even more than acoustic resonance. Because often it can be trickier to solve hum and noise from electrical interference. =/

I just got a power conditioner and I was fine after that. I’d never had it before though so hadnt a clue. It’s all a learning curve isn’t it.

Those were my early days which were so frustrating but looking back at it I actually miss it
