BFD 3 vs. Superior Drummer 3

To the drum programmers among us, I’m considering picking up either BFD 3 or Superior Drummer 3. I know that they’re both top-notch programs, and both seem to meet my desire for high quality acoustic drum sets with lots of options, but I’m wondering what the main differences are between them.

They both have some positive qualities. SD3 allows for importing of one’s own audio to mix with drum programming. That’s nice. And BFD 3 has some algorithm for more realistic cymbal washes, etc. That’s nice.

Is there any substantial difference between the workflows? Or sound quality? Or articulation options? Do they both allow for changing of mic types and placements?
