I just got SWAM Solo Strings v3, and as you already probably know I am a huge fan of physical modeling due to the incredible playability and expressiveness. What are your thoughts on SWAM Solo Strings? :slight_smile:

Thanks for the demo! It’s interesting to see the pros and cons of sampling vs modeling here. Do these plugs support aftertouch? I feel like that could potentially be a great controller for bow speed / strength, although the accuracy of aftertouch might be a bit tricky for precision stuff.

I honestly de-activated aftertouch on my MIDI keyboard since I accidentally recorded automation on it all the time! :stuck_out_tongue:

But yeah I think you can use it, since basically everything can be mapped. But it is very hard to control as you say.

I have been considering getting the Expressive E controller for extra expressive control in the performances.
