My musical impression of a Medieval Lion

Genre/Style:
My pastiche of Medieval music.

Creative Vision for the Track
The Lion was very prominent in both medieval art and religion. It was a symbol of courage and power with great spiritual significance. With that in mind, here is my piece, which of course I call “THE LION”.

Hopefully this piece has the heft, power and dignity of a medieval lion.

• EastWest Symphonic Choir
• EastWest Platinum Symphonic Orchestra, French Horn.

• Discovery BBC Percussion and harp.

Nice Charles! It definitely had a regal and stoic feel to it. Made me imagine a king making the hard decision to go to battle in a war he doesn’t want to wage. It would have been nice to hear that horn come up a bit more in the middle and play a bit of a noble melody. That’s my personal take on it anyway. Great job!
