Mike did a tutorial a while back
On Audio to MIDI in Logic Pro X (Tutorial)
And this is great for melodies
But here is my question
I do a lot of rhythmic drum beat ideas and recordings on my iPhone use just my voices or tapping on the table or items around my apartment etc…
How can I convert those drum beats sounds from audio to midi
The reason I do this is more freedom
Now yes I could slowly by trail and error tried to input them in the piano roll or use my keyboard
But some of the rhythms that I come up with I don’t even know how to notate
But I want the capture of the performance and dynamics can this be done in logic if so how ?
