I’m working on a new piece for Jazz Band (Big Band). It’s a Jazz Fusion chart; a fusion of Latin and Funk with a straight 1/8th note feel.
The title is “Just Particular I Guess.”
This video is the MIDI note piano sketch that I’ll be arranging for Jazz Band in Cubase and then notating in Dorico.
It’s written in the key of F and the tempo is 96 bpm. There is an open 24-bar solo section (2-12 bar) for whoever wants to take a ride.
